Frequently Asked Questions
You might be here because you're curious about therapy, or because you’re in a season of change and want to understand what working together would actually look like. This page covers the things people most often wonder about—how sessions work, what the first meeting is like, how to handle time zones, and more. If something isn’t answered here, just ask. I'm happy to walk you through anything that feels unclear.
Below are some of the questions people bring up most often before getting started.

What happens in the first session?
Our first 20-30 minute call is simply a chance to meet, discuss what brings you to therapy, and see if we're the right fit. There's no commitment—just space to explore what you need.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. All sessions are held online via secure video, so you can join from wherever you are in the world. Evening and weekend times are availalbe to accommodate different time zones.
Who do you work with?
I work with people aged 15 and older who are ready to reflect and grow. Many are travelers, students, expats, or parents navigating transitions; others simply want to strengthen their well-being.
What languages do you work in?
Sessions are available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish—choose whichever feels most natural for you.
Scheduling & Time Zones
My calendar automatically adjusts to your local time zone, so you'll always see available times in your region. If none of the listed options fit your schedule, we can discuss alternatives that work for both of us.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so I can offer your time to another client. Of course, there's flexibility in emergencies or unexpected situations.
Payments & Receipts
Each 50-minute session is €40. The first 20-30 minute introductory call is free of charge. Receipts can be provided for reimbursement or tax purposes. (Payment method options will be confirmed when booking.)
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful at any stage of life—not only during crisis. Many people begin when they feel stuck, uncertain, or curious. Others are going through transitions. If you're wondering whether it's time, that curiosity itself is often a sign you're ready to begin.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy is strictly confidential and protected by professional ethics. Your information will not be disclosed without your consent, except in verly limited cases required by law to protect safety.
About the Process
Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to guide reflection, offer perspective, and help you apply insights in your daily life. Growth happens gradually—but even small shifts in awareness can create lasting change.
